De naam Sienack komt voor het eerst voor in Moerbeke-Waas, Provincie Oost-Vlaanderen, en spreidt verder uit naar Assenede , Zelzate en Antwerpen.
Er is een belangrijke familietak in Zeeuws-Vlaanderen, meestal Sinack geschreven. Van daar is er rond 1900 een familie uitgeweken naar de Oostkust van de USA.
