Dit is het digitale familiearchief op internet van onze van oorsprong Drentse familie, die afstamt van Roelof Bartels, geboren ca. 1675, wonende in Peelo en overleden in 1744. Zijn zoon Barteld Roelofs woonde op het landgoed Vredeveld (tussen Rolde en Assen) De zoon van Barteld Roelofs, Geert Bartels (Vredeveld) woonde in Klateringen bij Beilen en nam in 1811 de naam Vredeveld aan. Een zoon van Geert Bartels was Lukas Geerts Vredeveld, zijn zoon was Geert Lukas Vredeveld, zijn zoon was Lukas Vredeveld, die met Hillechien Eggens 8 kinderen had, nl. Willemtien, Jantje, Geert, Egbert, Marinus, Lukas, Jan en Lammina (Mini) Ze hadden o.a. vier kleinkinderen had die allen Lukas Vredeveld heten (in resp. Horssen, Emmeloord, Doetinchem en Oosterwolde) en één die Lucas Geert Vredeveld heet (in Beilen) (allen dus de 8e generatie) Het familiearchief is bedoeld om verhalen en interessante foto's op te plaatsen door klein-en achterkleinkinderen van Lukas Vredeveld (1883-1981).
