De naam vaan de familie Kemink is in de jaren van schrijfwijjze aan verandering onderhevig geweest. Zo komt de naam Kemich, Kemmink, Kemminck, Keminck, Keemink en Kemink. De familie Kemink en Keemink zijn naar het westen van het land verhuist en komen nu voornamelijk voor in Den Haag en Amsterdam.
